How It All Began
Our introduction to bees came through a co-worker who fresh out of a local beekeeping course was looking for land on which to keep his first hives. After a few years of watching, then helping, and learning from him we added our own hives and reconnected with a childhood friend who became our mentor in beekeeping. We are continually fascinated by bees and the many ways they show evidence of the wonders of God’s creation. Our fascination has led to continued growth of our apiary and exploration of all sorts of topics in queen rearing, wintering methods, varroa management and much more.
Our Team
From the beginning of our story our apiary has been a full family effort. As our vision has grown from being a family hobby to the launch of Hope & Harvest LLC we have reached a scale at which we can share both our passion for bees and an opportunity for supplemental income with others in the community. Today our core team is made up of the Annis and Florek families with numerous friends still involved and helping along the way.
